Sydnee turns 4

Our Sunday lunch- Hawaiin Haystacks, pulled pork, cake- a yummy way to celebrat Lucy's blessing day & Sydnee's family birthday party. The darling cake by Melanie...
our birthday girl...

Everyone gathered for the blessing/birthday luncheon

At Sydnee's party the day before. Did I mention Sydnee's Primary class is huge?

Daddy telling them about the obstacle course...

The darling cupcakes for the party, again by Melanie...

They may look gross to you, but the kids loved the "octupus" hot dogs!

And who can resist a fish watermelon? :)

For Sydnee's actual birthday, we spent the gift certificate from Aunt Heather & treated the girls to a little polish job. Did you know there was such thing as yellow nail polish?

Todd and I thought it was so funny how our girls acted like they had done this a million times...

Would you expect a different color for Ava's nails?
Here are our very silly girls eating dinner at McDonalds...not OUR favorite place, but hey- it wasn't OUR birthday! :)

Happy Father's Day!

We were suppose to go to Dallas this weekend, but we stayed home & got a lot accomplished on Saturday. We emptied our game closet to make more room for food storage, organized my "office" and reorganized the play room. We want to try to get our 3-month's supply by the end of the year. Then we headed to the Y for swimming and raquet ball fun. I need to take a picture of Lucy in her bathing suit- not much of anything is cuter!

Here are some pictures from Father's Day as well.

Happy Father's Day to my favorite person in the whole world!

So I don't lose my Marbles...

I posted this on StampWithLinz & thought I would post it here too...
Hello friends. I'm sorry its been so long. The truth is, I haven't been doing much anything creative in a while...and I haven't wanted to! When I have tried, its not been up to par. And here's the 2nd part of my confession- I've gone digital. Almost everything I have done in the last 4+ months has been almost all digital or hybrid. I love SU!'s My Digital Studio and since my hands are usually full or holding a baby, it works for the time and space I have at the moment.

However, that doesn't mean I can't share my digital projects with you- so I will do that. I'll start with last night and work my way backwards. We had a Family Home Evening last night where we introduced our new Summer Program- Don't Lose Your Marbles/Summer Sanity. Everyone- except my little bitty baby- got to design their own tag for their jar. We have them displayed in the kitchen for easy access. Everyone did a good job. My husband even got into it. :) It felt good to be creative again. We'll see if it lasts. Check it out!
